Run & verify

  1. Save DQScannerService.exe to a permanent folder (e.g. C:\DQScanner\) and run it.
  2. It appears in the system tray and, on first run, registers auto-start and the browser launch link.
  3. Make sure your scanner's driver is installed and the device is on.
  4. Open the demo page — it should show Connected and list your scanners.
Windows may show a “Windows protected your PC” warning because the app isn't code-signed yet. Click More info → Run anyway, or right-click the file → Properties → Unblock.
